Birmingham’s Sloss Furnace is a haunted place in Alabama. In the early 1900s, James “Slag” Wormwood shift between sunset and sunrise at Sloss Furnaces over 100 workers who lived in cramped housing to take dangerous risks in order to speed up production in this process  47 workers lost their lives and others workers lost their ability to work this work change into horrific accidents, and 6 lost their vision and after this dangerous incidents workers continuously complained of an “unnatural presence” in the worksite and some claimed a mysterious voice to “get back to work.” and there are so many paranormal activities happened there like 3 supervisors were even found unconscious and locked in a small boiler room after this incident place become scariest and haunted.

The Redmond Hotel is Birmingham’s oldest and most famous historic hotel,  has a surprisingly haunted past. a ghost of a woman in white who passed away in the hotel and she had been seen on the 9th floor. but this ghost of famous singer Hank Williams, he stayed in right before his death and who has been seen in the same room. people reportedly movement of furniture, opening doors voice, they all are paranormal activities happened this most famous hotel.

The Tutwiler Hotel also has interesting and haunted past a bartender working at the hotel in 1995 and he had been experienced lights of the bar and kitchen suddenly turn on by themselves and this process repeated 4 times light off and on and 6th day he was greeted by a mysterious multi-course meal with candles and wine. people believe it was inferred by the ghost of Colonel Tutwiler, whom the hotel was named. he was the respectful ghost as no further paranormal bidding the Colonel a good evening and kindly asking him not to leave a mess and to tell messy Tutwiler to take care of his dishes.

Tuscaloosa’s Drish House has officially announced the most famous haunted places in Alabama. this was built in 1937 by Dr. John R. Drish and he loved drinking and gambling and he was died in 1867 from falling down a stairway while drunk and his wife Sarah kept the candles from his funeral and  they be used at her own funeral and Sarah passed in 1884 his family searched the house and endless to find the candles but could not and she has come back to haunt the house third-story tower by lighting the candles causing fire.

 

Jemison Center or Old Bryce Hospital (Northport, AL)

Northport hospital is a hot spot for seeking a haunting experience. Old Bryce Hospital had a reputation for treating its patients horribly, verging on torture and visitors feel hot and cold on this place and some items moving there and ghosts footsteps sounds, scuffling of feet Screams, and unexplained creaking of doors today, this hospital although it is often patrolled by police officers

Lucas Tavern (Montgomery, AL)

From 1820 to 1840 Lucas Tavern  was a favorite upscale place for travelers to enjoy a safe place to stay and clean bed and this was run by Eliza Lucas and became a private home for Lucas, and in 1980 after her death when the ghost of the friendly hostess began to visit its occupants a  short woman dressed in a Victorian dress waving she was smiling and kindly at passers-by in the doorway of the tavern and she attended a committee member meeting.Eliza is proof that some ghosts stick around simply to keep the tradition alive.

 

Bill Sketoe’s Hole (Newton, AL)

During the Civil War Bill, Sketoe was a victim and he came home to take care of his sick wife and he denied the charge and he was hung from the bridge but he was so tall his feet to properly execute the lynching but  To this day, the hole has not and cannot be filled. You can visit Bill Sketoe’s hole and grave on this Halloween in Newton
